The mind, body, and spirit are all critical aspects in an individual's life. My desire is to work with children, teenagers, young adults, and older adults who are experiencing grief and loss, depression, anxiety, family conflict, life problems, stress, adjustment disorder, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, Oppositional defiant disorder, and trauma. My goal is to help clients enhance their ability to cope with everyday life through techniques specific and tailored to their needs. My own personal experiences have taught me how to overcome battles, which is why I am so passionate about helping others and the mental health field. Mental health can affect every aspect of daily living and I am ready to help clients find strategies to positively impact their lives.

I'm a licensed therapist here to guide you toward personal healing and healthier relationships with yourself and others. With over 17 years of experience as a mental health professional, I specialize in helping individuals navigate and heal from adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and toxic stress. Holding dual Master's degrees from the University of Michigan and Liberty University, I specialize in integrating therapeutic expertise, psychoeducation, restorative practices, and Christian theology to address clients' unique needs and goals. I've helped clients enhance their well-being and improve relationship quality by integrating self-care practices and evidence-based relationship training into their recovery processes. My sessions are focused on you and your needs. My goal as a mental health clinician is to help the individual to help themselves and to offer guidance to positive life fulfillment. I do believe that no one purposely desires to be unhappy and allow problems/situations to adversely affect their self-esteem/worth. My therapeutic approach will address whatever solution is necessary to allow the client to address and deal with effectively whatever presenting issue that is causing a less than purpose filled existence. The counseling process is catered to the needs of the individual and the ultimate goal is to help clients to reach their full potential. I utilize a holistic counseling style that will encourage a freedom of expression for the client with the end goal of bringing about a solution, promoting both healing and personal growth. The client has the wheel on this journey and my job is to listen and render guidance as needed. Change can be a good event if properly transitioned. Each client is unique and therapy is consummate with the individual need and elicits self-growth.

My name is Desmond Mack, and I am a Mental Health Clinician with a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. As a clinician, my primary goal is to work collaboratively with my clients, guiding them through the various processes and transitions that can be difficult to navigate alone.

My counseling style is holistic and client-centered, which means that I focus on the whole person and their unique experiences, while allowing for the freedom of expression and collaboration. I believe that everyone's journey is unique, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. Therefore, I work with my clients to develop customized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
