My goal as a mental health clinician is to help the individual to help themselves and to offer guidance to positive life fulfillment. I do believe that no one purposely desires to be unhappy and allow problems/situations to adversely affect their self-esteem/worth. My therapeutic approach will address whatever solution is necessary to allow the client to address and deal with effectively whatever presenting issue that is causing a less than purpose filled existence. The counseling process is catered to the needs of the individual and the ultimate goal is to help clients to reach their full potential. I utilize a holistic counseling style that will encourage a freedom of expression for the client with the end goal of bringing about a solution, promoting both healing and personal growth. The client has the wheel on this journey and my job is to listen and render guidance as needed. Change can be a good event if properly transitioned. Each client is unique and therapy is consummate with the individual need and elicits self-growth.

My name is Desmond Mack, and I am a Mental Health Clinician with a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges. As a clinician, my primary goal is to work collaboratively with my clients, guiding them through the various processes and transitions that can be difficult to navigate alone.
My counseling style is holistic and client-centered, which means that I focus on the whole person and their unique experiences, while allowing for the freedom of expression and collaboration. I believe that everyone's journey is unique, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. Therefore, I work with my clients to develop customized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.

Many individuals seek therapy for various reasons, such as relationship struggles, work-related stress, feelings of sadness, being overwhelmed, constant worry, or depression. It's okay to feel that something in your life isn't quite right. Therapy provides a compassionate and safe space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain insight, and take steps towards becoming the best version of yourself. The most powerful thing you have is the commitment to yourself. Taking the first step to schedule therapy requires courage, and I am here to support you
every step of the way.

Molly Dean
virtual office assistant
I received my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Health Studies from Queen's University (Kingston, ON Canada). I am currently a second year Master of Social Work candidate at Wayne State University. At Revived Mind Counseling, I am the Virtual Office Manager. My primary interest within the field of Social Work is working alongside the eating disorder population. I am planning to specialize in Psychodynamic and Family Focused Therapy.
My name is Ryan Keller. I am in my final year at Wayne State University obtaining my Masters in Social Work. My work experience includes working with suicide loss survivors by providing emotional support and connecting them to a wide variety of services that meet their needs. It was an honor to be able to work with and provide support to families grieving loved ones.
Some days reading clients’ stories of their unexpected loss and looking at obituarys left me in a deep hole of emotions. Eventually, I was able to shift my perspective and see that there are still people here who need support and care, and recognizing this is what allowed me to keep my drive. This ability to shift perspective is one I hope to instill in future clients as how we perceive the world around us and how we let it affect us greatly determines not only our quality of life but treatment outcomes.
My life goal is to become a sports social worker to support athletes with off-the-field problems to enhance on-the-field performance and general life satisfaction. While I anticipate the possibility of this future career, I eagerly await the myriad of learning experiences ahead of me at Revived Mind Counseling and look forward to taking this opportunity one day at a time.
